Scientific Name: Lates calcarifer

Also known as Barra, giant perch, silver barramundi.

Size:  To 150cm and 60kg (commonly marketed up to 120cm and about 0.5-10kg)

Available:  Plate sized, Whole, Fillets, Cutlets and portions.

Scientific Name: Cromileptes altivelis

Also known as humpback grouper, humpback rockcod.

Size:  To about 70cm and 4.8kg (commonly 40-60cm and 1.0-2.8kg)

Scientific Name: Rachycentron canadum

Also known as Cobia, crabeater, sergeant fish.

Size:  To almost 200cm and 70kg (commonly 65-125cm and 3-20kg)

Scientific Name: Haemulidae

Also known as black snapper, blackall, grey sweetlip, morwong, painted sweetlip, sand snapper, slate bream, sweetlip emperor, yellow sweetlip.

Size:  To 100cm and about 12kg (commonly to 60cm and 3kg)

Scientific Name: Acanthopagrus australis

Also known as black bream, bream, sea bream, silver bream, surf bream.

Size:  To at least 55cm and 4.0kg (typically landed at 25-35cm and about 0.2-1.2kg)

Also known as Chinese footballer, coronation trout, footballer cod, lunartail rockcod.

Also known as common dart, oyster cracker, pumpkin fish, swallowtail dart.

Scientific Name: Lethrinus laticaudis

Also known as Blueline emperor, brown sweetlip, coral bream, emperor, grass sweetlip, snapper bream.

Size:  To 70cm and 5.6kg (commonly 30-45cm and 0.5-1.8kg)

Scientific Name: Lutjanus sebae

Size:  Exceeding 100cm and 22kg (commonly to 70cm and about 6kg)

Also known as emperor, pinkear sweetlip, purplehead emperor, red-ear emperor.

Size:  To 50cm and about 1.8kg (commonly marketed at 28-36cm and 0.4-0.8kg)

Also known as emperor, lipper, redthroat, sweetlip emperor, tricky snapper, trumpeter.

Scientific Name: Lethrinus nebulosus

Also known as Blueline emperor, emperor, greater spangled emperor, lesser spangled emperor, nor-west snapper.

Scientific Name: Platycephalus fuscus

Also known as Black flathead, dusky, mud flathead.
